At CSnotepad, we are doing our best to create a website that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you don't find an answer to your question here, please contact us.

 

What are your hours of service?

A. Our core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm. Our extended hours are 24/7.

 

How do you answer my telephone calls?

A. We answer them exactly as a personal assistant would. We answer a telephone call for you with your company name and a greeting according to your preference.

 

Who answers my calls?

A. You'll have a small team of 3 experienced receptionists that are first in line for your calls. They will be trained on your account setup, familiar with your business and get to know your customers. If all 3 receptionists happen to be busy on calls when one comes in, it will immediately overflow to a free receptionist on another team. Your caller will never be kept waiting.

 

How do you differentiate my calls from others?

A. We provide you with a unique number when you register. You divert your calls to this unique number. Our system recognises calls coming in on this number and your welcome message pops up on our receptionist's screen.

 

How do I divert my telephone calls to you?

A. You can divert your calls to us simply by activating call diversion from the keypad on your telephone. We will go through this with you step by step.

 

Can I divert my landline and my mobile to you?

A. Yes, you can divert any type of line to us or both at the same time.

 

Can I divert telephone calls from multiple branch offices?

A. That's fine, and there's no extra charge.

 

I already have an 08/09 number, can you answer calls that come through on that number?

A. Yes we can, there's no need to change your number and you can simply divert all calls straight to us.

 

Can you provide me with a non-geographic 08/09 number to use?

A. Of course. We assign a local rate 0845/0844 number to your account. You are free to use this number on your website, advertising material etc... and there's no extra charge. We can also offer other numbers such as 0800 freephone numbers, and 09 premium rate numbers, just click here

 

Can you provide other 01/02/03 numbers e.g. London or Manchester?

A. Absolutely. In fact we can provide any number nationwide, just click here

 

How do I receive my messages?

A. We can either e-mail you or text you. It's entirely up to you.

 

How much does it cost to subscribe to your telephone answering services?

A. We have no set up fee. You pay your monthly subscription for any services in advance and we bill you for your calls or mail forwarding 1 month in arrears. If you sign up to a Pay As You Go tariff, you will add £27 of call credit to your account on day 1. This will appear as a credit on your first bill. Once this is used up, you pay for your calls monthly in arrears. There is a minimum of 10 calls per month on the PAYG. For details of our costs, please see our Prices page.

 

How long will it take to set up my account?

A. Providing there are no unexpected delays we will have your account setup by start of business the following day.

 

Once I subscribe, am I tied into a contract?

A. No. At CSnotepad we don't believe in tying you into a long contract, should you ever wish to cancel, all we require is 1 month notice.

 

Can I have a telephone answering service for just a couple of weeks?

A. Yes. We have a short term package which we can tailor to your needs. It is specifically designed for companies who wish to use our answering service solely whilst they're on holiday or away from the office for a given period of time. Please contact us for more details on your own personalised package.

 

Do I get charged for every single telephone call?

A. No. We do not charge you for any wrong numbers or telephone calls that we can ascertain are sales cold calls.

 

How can I keep track of the cost?

A. Because you choose when your telephone calls are diverted, you have complete control over the costs. We also send you an end of day report, letting you know how many telephone calls we have answered for you that day.

 

What happens to my telephone calls out of hours?

A. If your telephone calls are still diverted when our offices close, your calls will go through to our state of the art voicemail facility. You will then be able to access your voicemail at any time, day or night, simply by using the pin number we provide you with. We do not charge for any telephone calls answered by voicemail.

 

Won't customers know I'm using a call centre?

A. No. Our professional receptionists answer your telephone calls in your business name and use exactly the same greetings your in house staff use.

 

What if I accidentally delete my message?

A. Don't worry, we email you a summary report of all your messages at the end of each day, free of charge. And if it's really urgent, just give us a call and we'll retrieve it for you there and then.

 

I need something I can't see listed, can you put together a package just for me?

A. Yes. Call us and we will be happy to discuss a tailored answering service specific for your needs.
